Uhh...that is the smoothest straight bourbon I know. It’s top shelf bourbon at a reasonable price. I’d put it up there with pappy, Blantons, etc.

I know there are a lot of crown drinkers but that shocks me.
I think it's between SC and Colorado, overall sales not per capita

I wouldn't open my mouth too much. Rebel Yell is catching traction in some of the bourbon pages I follow on Facebook.

When I worked at Charleston Naval Shipyard, we were forced to take 2 weeks leave for the holidays. Before this "Christmas Curtailment", most shops had a Christmas party. In my shop, folks started discussing which was the best bourbon. This was way before the new millennial bourbon craze/fad so we're talking about Wild Turkey, Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Maker Mark and blends like Canadian Club, Southern Comfort, Crown Royal, etc. Since everyone would be bringing their favorite, we decided to do a blind taste test. We set up shots of each one and when it was all over, the winner by almost 85% was......Jim Beam!

Out of that selection, it doesn't surprise me that JB won.
