Default Walmart removing guns & ammo

    WYFF 4Updated: 5:48 PM EDT Oct 29, 2020

Walmart is removing guns and ammo from displays at stores, citing civil unrest in parts of the U.S.

"We have seen some isolated civil unrest and as we have done on several occasions over the last few years, we have moved our firearms and ammunition off the sales floor as a precaution for the safety of our associates and customers," a company spokesperson told news outlets.

The person did not specify what civil unrest prompted the move.

The retailer made a similar move in June for some stores following protests over the death of George Floyd, who was in Minneapolis police custody. Weapons and ammunition were stored in secured areas.

"It’s important to note that we only sell firearms in approximately half of our stores, primarily where there are large concentrations of hunters, sportsmen and sportswomen," the spokesperson also said. "These items do remain available for purchase by customers.”

I sent the wife to WM in Beaufort yesterday to pick up some chap target loads for the girls sporting clay practice.
The shelves had been emptied and she was told no restocking until sometime after the election.....that is jackd!

During the "unrest" in the city of brotherly love a Walmart was looted and their guns and ammo were carted off by the "peaceful protesters" so they made the call nationwide to keep everything in the back.

Cheaper to hire a sniper to protect it.

Pretty smart decision IMO. Budiness owners in Demonrat cities all over the country are closing g down and boarding up their storefronts in anticipation of the rioting and destruction that will occur next week.

They must know Trump is winning, expecting petulant Democrats showing out.

Trump voters will be at work Wednesday win or lose.

Friend of mine went around a month ago to the Dillon Wal-Mart and they were selling all of their firearms at ridiculously low prices! He bought a Henry lever action, Remington 1187, and a savage axis .308 for $450 and they were all brand new. Said once the word got out, they quickly sold out.

Can you imagine how fast WM would get named in a lawsuit if someone was shot with one of these stolen guns

walmart removing guns/ammo during times of distress seems similar to waffle house's closing model during a weather event

Walmart on Woodruff Rd. in Greenville has no guns out, but has some ammo on the shelves. Picked up some 20 gauge shells in order to take the neighbor's kid shooting clays.
