    If you are talking about peak of rut then itís about right now in the Piedmont and the reason I am taking vacation and hunting all next week. I always see a good bit of chasing around October 21st and bigger deer seem to show up the last of October and the first week of November.

    Same here. Our cameras prove it too. Has ever since we started using them. We get a lot of mature deer on camera in the day time the last week of Oct. and the first week of Nov.
