    Default Seat Covers

What’s the goto for seat covers now?

I need to cover the front buckets and the back bench. I want to keep from killing my seats this season from muddy people and dogs.

Following. I need some good ones too, but it seems it’s all cheap, or $500 a set. Not much in between

I’m sure I will have to pay. I just want to narrow it down.

From an earlier thread, it looks like Marathon is the gold standard.

according to this group and many many threads about this, Marathon is the KRT of seat covers.

I’ve had Marathon and Sportsman. I like the Sportsman better.

Anybody use the Rough Country stuff? Look like a good fit in the pictures. They make floor mats as well. Half or less of the Marathon and Carhart covers I've seen. The logo is tacky though...

The Sportsman’s “look” better on their website.

Those Rough Country ones are made of neoprene. Seems that would tear up quicker.

I like the mud river items and can take them out easy and rinse them off.

Leather seats- wipe off when done for the day, recover all for under $500 when ready to trade and the new leather makes a difference for trade in or private sale- same as carpet. Spend $750 total on both and get $2500 in return. Used car dealers do it every day.

You Boomers have some good ideas. This was actually my first thought same reason I’ve never bought a truck with cloth seats.

I’ve had marathons a little over a year and I’ve been happy. I drag my ass getting out of the seat and they aren’t even showing wear there yet. I got some overstock ones they had that were made and on sale since I didn’t care which camo they came in. Putting them on is a 2 man job also as they fit tight, you will skin up a finger or 2 and probably cuss as well.

Marathon. My son installed mine yesterday in my truck. The fit is as perfect as you can get. I’ve had them in other trucks and have never had a problem. My leather seats in my Denali took a beating last year so I dropped almost $700 for this set.
The perforated leather had mud ground into it and the detailer caught hell trying to get it all out.

marathon....everyone once in awhile, they make duplicate sets by mistake.....got front and back set half off....easy to clean and dry off; no reason to ever completely take them off.....seat and floor covers will keep em near show room shape if you’re keeping one for long haul

Another vote for Marathons here. I bought mine on their sale page, which is where they offload their duplicate sets. I take my dogs everywhere with me and they have held up great. They fit nearly as well as OEM covers, plus they are waterproof, and you don't sweat your tail off sitting in them like you do with neoprene covers.

I used to be a big fan of marathon but not anymore, the covers are too damn hard to put on!!

I have the Cabelas kryptek ones. they are actually made in the usa by ruff tuff or ruff n tuff. made to your specific automobile specs. even the standard ones have molle straps on the back of the front seats. they have held up well for me

I've always used leather. Although it hasn't been necessarily by choice. Got an old 2 Door Blazer handed down to me as an outdoor beater. But it's a blessing in disguise. A quick wipedown and dry...Off I go again.

I bought these, they aren't bad seat covers for the price and do just what I want them to do.
