Had this guy come out at 7:45 this morning and head towards the swamp really fast. He was right at 350 yards when he stepped into the field. I tried catching up with him on the camera but he was going to fast... got into a trot one time. Gave up on the camera and quickly realized this quad pod stand rifle rest doesn't really help when they are that far out. Needs to be about 4-6 inches taller. I yelled at him and got him to stop at 321 yards. 30.06 Remington Core-Lokt 150 grains. Wasn't the deer I thought it was but he will eat. I thought he was the crab claw 8 I have a bunch of pictures of and one of the 2 I would shoot. Lee County buck.
