    Default Woods are dead

Other than a deer right before daylight, man it’s quiet. Guess that is what happens when it’s 80

Just saw good 7 pt. But for the most part yes. Think the mosquitoes are keeping them down personally

Trying to decide whether I should back out and give it till next weekend when it cools off or play the wind and get deeper and sit for awhile. I’ll on an oak ridge that is pouring acorns.

I’d hang tight. Those I saw yesterday were ~ 10:00.

I’ve seen a at least one small buck every morning this week. 3 small bucks yesterday trailing the same doe. Nothing this morning but I did not get here until 7:45 from taking kids to school/daycare. Wife has seen a few bucks and does this morning on a hayfield.

I sat yesterday am and didn't even see a bird till 8:15.

I had been going every evening and those were good hunts.

I just have zero desire right now. I’d rather go fishing.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Very quiet in Ridgeway. Have not even heard a shot.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

South Florence is really slow. Never seen it this bad this time of year. Got a crew of fathers and sons coming in for the weekend and it ain’t looking good.
