I’m leaning in the direction of buying a climber to start doing some hunting from. Mainly to get deeper into the woods during the rut and away from our permanent stands. 5’11” 280 lbs. talk to me about comfortable climbers.

Summit Titan or Goliath
Go with a aero-kestrel hybrid tetherzd saddle pro model. Hip pinch may be a problem but wear soccer goalie shorts under your hunting kit and always rappel. Rappel Welch has some videos on YouTube to teach you. Once you put on those soccer goalie shorts, you'll never go back to a climber again.
I kinda like the silk holdin’ my balls. Reminds me of another time....
I am quite large and use a summit goliath. I refer to it as the world stand because when you are carrying it, you have the weight of the world on your back.
Kill big, kill often
Rifle or bow? Look at the Equalizer https://www.buckshotmfg.com/www.Equa...eestand-2.aspx hard to beat them for comfort and stability
Y’all just all jealous
I was up at 285 and this is what I used all the time. I still use them but I am now within numbers for their regular stand. The only thing about these are they may be noisy on the setup. If you leave them in the woods they are great.
Mine are the ones with backrests.
I saw one the other day that used cable instead of their regular hardware to go around the tree. I like the hardware better.

It's not enough to simply tolerate the 2nd Amendment as an antiquated inconvenience. Caring for the 2nd Amendment means fighting to restore long lost rights.
Let me just give my .02. Why would you want to lug a heavy ass climber through the woods and go through the aggravation of setting it up when the higher you are off the ground, the less you can see due to foliage? Take your 30-30 and sit on the ground. It’s much easier and still as effective.
Summit Goliath.
