Jon Boy and Billy’s is the real deal for grilling some leg quarters.

Juice from four lemons then put smashed lemons in mix

Simmer for an hour at least. This is important.

    Strain and bottle.

    You're welcomed.
Thanks. Made a batch today. Good stuff.

I ended up tweaking it like i do everything else. Just a little to lemony for me, but a damn good vinegar sauce. Got a butt on the egg right now.

I did too. Roasted my garlic and used one large bulb and a small one. I think the extra garlic toned the lemon down a bit. Added extra pepper, both types to mine. Gonna cook some butts or a half hog next weekend. I can’t wait.
I let it simmer a good portion of the day. It just got better with the extra time.

I think it was too lemony because you used too many lemons.

    Followed the recipe, then tweaked.

My apologies. You did as instructed. I took a quick glance at the picture and made an assumption.

Four still seems like a lot. That may explain why Big Brother is so sour.

If you used five lemons, you should have added some purple drank mix to it to tone it down.

Tracy’s sauce is still the best all around sauce for everything I’ve found. Don’t think you can buy it anymore, but I used to get it in bulk from Docs BBQ. I have the recipe in one of my moving boxes buried in a storage room somewhere. Good stuff.
