Been working to get the 86 pickup to get it done. Still got some stuff to finish on it.

94 4Runner is a beast. Put about $1000 in it which goes a long way. Thing runs like new now.

Got my eyes on a 86 Land Cruiser hoping to grab this week.

I want one of those trucks.......
“Duck hunting gives a man a chance to see the loneliest places …blinds washed by a rolling surf, blue and gold autumn marshes, …a rice field in the rain, flooded pin-oak forests or any remote river delta. Cool thread. I have a 2012 that I've done a lot of dumb stuff to.

Side note, having a tough time attaching pics this evening for some reason.

Anyone running OV tune on their 3rd gen Tacoma? Install yourself or have someone do it?

Seeing that guy in Texas walk away from that FJ that got crushed by the 18 wheeler last week gives Toyota some instant cred...

Sadly yes... Trying to stay off.

Just bought a 21 that the plan is to give to my son in a few years. Doing an OME/285’s on my 17 was a deal breaker for me. Loved the way it looked, but transmission gear hunting and the needle bearing B.S. allowed me to move on quick to something else.

Buddy going through same right now with 285’s and the shifting. He’s asking me what I know and beside the latest TSB for the shift points everyone seems to rave about the OV tune. After reading I’m pretty interested, but skeptical as well.

BTW, what deal with the devil did you cut for those SCS wheels? I like the look!

looong wait on the ray10 wheels. Months and months. The first 2 times I tried to buy them, they sold out in 3 minutes after being dropped on their site. I put a lift on a friends 2019 Tacoma OR with 285s and he sold it about 6 months later for a full size. As for the needle bearing does ECGS not have a bushing to fix that for the 3rd gen?

They do. Bought the ecgs kit, but somehow stokes in Bluffton got it covered from someone high up in the south east toyota chain. Like I told them, what is different about that part on the trd pro that comes lifted from the factory? Think being OME components and overall condition of the truck helped me. They said if it was a spacer kit it would not have been covered.
