Talked to Brandon, tough day-said he only had 5 bites and landed the one fish. Said one of the others that came off was 5+. But that’s fishing. The guys leading are stacking them up pretty good. Palaniuk is killing them even with a 2 lb penalty yesterday. Palaniuk’s brother in law is 2nd. Going to be tough to catch them, hope Patrick Walters can get in the top ten to make Sunday and have a shot. Brandon dropped to 37th in the AOY, was hoping he came out of this with some cushion for the remaining 2 events. He’ll have to well in those to make the Classic next year.

Austin Felix needs to send me a Christmas card. He's in 6th place fishing my brush piles.

Here's a pic. This isn't a prototype,....it's two of the actual brush piles he's fishing.
I saved a pic of them.

Grilled wahoo while watching them yank fish off my buddy’s dock in Taw Caw.

Several caught off the same dock by 4 different boats.

2 fisherman came back an hour later and pulled more fish.

Good to see reputable tournaments back on the lakes.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
