    Default Goat

    Well, the cranes and deer are shut down with this freaking persistent heat wave, so after looking at the sky this am for ~ 1 hour hoping to spot a Crane, I decided to go put some meat in the freezer. Chased these goats with a bow for over a month...lead arrow got him this morning. Nothing huge, but good eating for certain.

    Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    It’s weird...shooting goats out here with a rifle is about like going to the meat market...it’s not terribly difficult and most of the time, the meat you want is there and you take it home. Almost too easy. On the flip side of that coin...trying to kill one with a bow is just about stupid and the shine wears off that penny in a hurry.
