    Default One Proud Dad!!!!

Well his senior year tournament trail started off very nicely. My son and his partner finished 2nd in their first tournament of the year and he caught the big fish of the tournament (6.05). They finished 2nd to another South Florence team. It was a tough day. There were 98 boats and 3 teams caught a limit. 1st and 2nd were 4lbs heavier than the 3rd place team. To say I'm proud of my son is an understatement!! He has worked so hard. It's really not so much that I'm proud of this accomplishment as I'm proud of the fact that he has never played video games and all of the other things the youth of today get caught up doing. He is happiest when he either has a fishing rod or a guitar in his hand. Those are his two passions and he works day in and day out to perfect those skills. I just had to come on here and give him props for a job well done........and of course to brag a little.

    Awesome! Congrats to him.,

Our November tournament is at Wateree and the December tournament is at Murray. You should bring your son to a weigh-in. If you don't talk to him between now and then, you can just talk to him in person. If you're interested, let me know. I will be at both and will help with anything I can help you with. He can hang out with all our boys.

Good job, Amazing how big high school fishing has become. Some colleges offering scholarships, he sounds like a good candidate for one. Congratulations, keep feeding the dream!
