    Default Crossbow question

So this will be my first time going out with a crossbow. My reconstructed shoulder prevents me from using a regular bow. I’ve got it zeroed out good at 40 meters. At what range should I pass on a shot? It’s 405 FPS

If a man is alone in the woods, says something, and a woman does not hear, is he still wrong?

Common sense is not a gift. It's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone else who doesn't have it.

The main thing I know is they are fast and LOUD. I wouldn’t shoot beyond 40 on SC deer.

So are crossbows. They’re like the undecideds of the sporting weapons world.

I feel you. Just my only option for early season. I still use my Sako Finnbear for gun season and my shoulder curses me for using it.

The farther away the animal the less reactions to sound. KE with an arrow/blot decreases substantially at that distance. Aim low and stay under 40 yards.
