I'm sure I could and would use these gadgets if someone gave me one (read: blackstone) but dont kid yourselves that they reinvent anything....

I 100% agree with you on this.....

And I want to state, for the record, that I started to say something smartass about agreeing with you but I refrained, and that's the thanks I get. SMDH......

I've just never thought to myself, "You know what is really bothering me? That little bit of doneness on my otherwise properly cooked steak." I'm not all steak crazy anyway. I'd rather overthink something else.

My cousin in law got one about a month ago. The brand he got was Blazing Bull. He is absolutely in love with the thing. I haven't had anything off of it but the pics he has sent me looked good.

You know Burger King makes a whopper look good when they take pictures of it...

Get the largest chimney charcoal starter you can find. Fill it. When coals are ready put a grate on it. Sear away.

Or get a little smokey weber and over fill it. Don’t put grate on till ready to sear. Hot enough to warp and sag grates.

    Chimney is the best.

Common sense is not a gift. It's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone else who doesn't have it.
