    Default Outdoor Kitchen?

I have a renovation project coming that will include new back porch area. I’m plan to put in an outdoor kitchen. I plan on a grill, flat top, Fryer, sink and plenty of counter place.

What have you done? What would you do different? Pictures would be nice too.

Is it going to be covered or open air?
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Check out bbq shack and shanties on FB. There are a ton of ideas on there from $100-$50,000 that people have done. Im getting ready to do mine soon as the weather cools off a bit.

You’ll need a hood over the grill. Think about how you prep food in the kitchen, where the sink is in relation to your cooking surfaces. Do you have room for an island, easy to put a sink directly in front of the grill with food prep space on either side. Is it going to be on a deck type surface or patio? Frame or masonry?

    Covered porch. Elevated concrete slab

I’ve been going back and forth about a hood.

If you give 10 people a bag of gold, someone will complain about how heavy it is!

Couple of these will move some air and take care of the hood need.

Built this a few years ago and use it several time a week. Sink, fridge, Primo, burner/griddle, slide out trash can, storage under sink, drawer under Primo. Hood is a must in a covered area. A little more counter space would be good but it gets the job done.

If you go the hood route spend the extra and put the fan/blower motor on the roof.

The lack of pictures of everyone's set up is quite disappointing. I don't have an outdoor kitchen so I can't share. Was hoping to see more to get ideas

Don’t tell me....do they refer to their grills as BBQs?
