Lime juice from 2 limes. TBSP of olive oil, 1 Cup of XX Amber or Modelo beer , black pepper to taste ( I like a lot), tbsp of sea salt, a tablespoon of fresh chopped garlic, a little cumin -1 tsp and 1 tsp of Chipotle powder or even chipotle in Adobo .. Blend all the ingredients and pour over the meat in a ziploc bag for an hour or two. Might surprise you..
Don't look too deep into this. Teriyaki is only a flavor, just like any other marinate. I don't care about being authentic. What I care about is sparks flying when I put it on the table.

On a slightly different topic, have you ever noticed that meat pizza, like meat lovers from Pizza Hut (as an example), always gets eaten no matter what, and that bullshit pizza with pineapple, mushrooms, peppers, and all that other girly vegetarian nonsense ends up in the refrigerator and the next time you see it, its wearing a wool sweater?

As an aside, I have been using up all the duck left in the freezer from last year on pizzas. You can ask the people at the grocery to fill up one of those sliced deli meat bags with their pizza dough for about two bucks...

Poor choice of words on my part, as I don't snack. I should've said meal or meal replacement when in the woods or in a crunch.

I keep these in my truck with a bottle of Frank's and always have some at the house. I eat a can with a meal on most days. I usually pick them up for $6.99 for 6 cans at Costco when they go on sale.

ahh, that's just east and west if you stay on hwy1.. the town is still cool, but we cannot support a fresh market or anything, there have been studies done. our Food Lion isn't bad, and I can find most things, but the lines are terrible. then we've got a pretty cool meat market, and farmers market. we've got another grocery store anchor spot that might start filling up also, some of the developers worked on finding grocery stores, asked me if I wanted to come in, that was a hard pass.

Old white retirees like to grocery shop. I could stand in one spot and drop a BB out of a Red Ryder into the parking lots of a Fresh Market, Harris Teeter, Publix, and Ingles. They all stay packed.
