Default Random Thoughts on Food Related Stuff

The new season of The Chef Show has been released for our enjoyment on Netflix.

My wife sends my dad black rifle coffee cartridges. He’s so cheap he reuses them.

The middle boy cooked roast beef sandwiches tonight. Pretty good considering the gravy came out of a can.

We are having kabobs tomorrow night. To me, it makes more sense to cook all the meet on separate skewers. That way I can cook the veggies longer that the steak.

Johanne was lighting it up when he stopped thinking. Always a pleasure to see that guy.

I’m going to make tacos on Saturday. I’ve got three pounds of flank steak that I’m going to marinate in teriyaki and then grill at 600+ to char it up. Finely chopped onion, cilantro, salsa verde, and tortillas. My crowd like flour. I don’t care. I’m not from Mexico.

Kippered herring > sardines. Especially with coarse brown mustard

Marinating something in teriyaki then serving it on a taco. I would think it would pair better with fried rice.
