    Can't find peanut oil anywhere around here. What is an acceptable substitute for the deep fryer?

    Ive been buying fry blend. It doesnt burn like canola and veggie oil. Seems to do about like peanut but little cheaper

    One reason for a Costco membership. Second best is Academy, price wise.
    Liquid shortening seems second best and works well.
