Default PSA- Scaup restriction this year

FYI, I was looking over the waterfowl regs again for 2020-21. In case no one was paying attention, there are some restrictions for scaup this year.

I remember when there was a 2 scaup bonus over the regular 5 Bird limit, so you could shoot 7.

They've certainly taken a turn downward on breeding numbers. Not sure if it's as bad a turn as they lead us to believe, but a turn nonetheless.

We’ve seen a MAJOR decline in SC wintering scaup.

    Something had to be done.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

When Zebra mussels were found in the Great Lakes, the water turned gin clear and the Scaup numbers have declined.
