Listen to your elders. Not because they are always right but because they have more experiences of being wrong.

This is a time for conservatives to separate themselves from liberals in our response to this. Making deaths political is what they do. Let’s be decent folks and be respectful. Don’t be like them when Scalia was killed, I mean, died of natural causes

I didn't agree with pretty much anything she believed but prayers for her family.

Agreed and agreed Scalia’s death seemed odd.

I don’t see how this changes THAT much. It takes on average a little over 2 months to confirm a new justice, that’s not happening before the election. I think most figured the next president would be nominating a new justice regardless.

Nope, just waiting on how hard the Senate crabs backwards on their own statements.

From a guy that knows his stuff, (not me, a friend) they could get a replacement in 3 weeks if they hustle. The dems changed the filibuster rules and it may come back to bite them

2 months? Let's say 3. That's the middle of December. Trump's in office until January 20 regardless of election. If he loses and has to leave, leave them with the gift of another conservative justice.

I know she’s had a ton of health issues for years, but maybe her death was premature. What better way to energize the left. Timing is fishy to me considering Biden’s recent senility on full display. Definitely sets a new media narrative for the next couple of months.

No they will wait till after the election and they will have 2.5 months. All the republicans will know their outcomes and can vote for the nominated justice without election repercussions.

Why would you think the senate republicans would grow a set now?
