I'm sure someone will be along shortly to proclaim its DNR's fault that the Delta is flooded, crops are damaged, and water wont recede right?

Actually, it’s Trump’s fault.
and every year it happens... what's the definition of stupid again?
should we give up, and keep accepting shitty results?
I speculate that the King tides are actually being caused by all the liberal tears so therefore it is Trumps fault!
If they would have a "can do" attitude none of this would happen
"King tides" < "skinny water" < "redfish".
Marsh Hens could die !!!!
That’s about how I feel at the moment.

Not being from that area, I need a little clarification.
- Rain has caused a wetland to be wet.

So, upstream from those wetlands used to be more wetlands, forests and whatnot. Now there are parking lots. This results in more rain water making it into our creeks, streams and rivers, then heading downstream. So they are getting a lot more 'wet' than they used to. Add to that that sea levels are rising due to the overall climate changing and low tides aren't as low as they used to be and high tides are higher. That plus a pretty regular barrage of tropical systems that have skirted the coast with some decent surges keep causing significant erosion issues and understandably, it appears managers are having a pretty tough go of trying manage/managing properties. That's my understanding of the issues anyway...

If you’re from the upstate and want to see an example of impervious surfaces at work go hang out in Cleveland park the next time a thunderstorm sits on top of the north side of Greenville.
While you're there you can head over to McPherson Park and check out a pervious surface and play a round of putt-putt.
Someone better come up with a solution 'cause the problem ain't going away!
I live outside of Charlotte and they're mowing down wood lots at full tilt.
Despite all the rain they keep Lake Wylie so low you can walk across it in places.
Can the reservoirs not be persuaded to hold more water?
