Yep. Back then a lot of emphasis was put on 225 reps. Kid from south point high school (NC) named Derek Meeler did it 38 times and he wasn't 225 lbs soaking wet. I ran 5.0 40yd at 6'2 330lbs

Never have been very strong but have always enjoyed exercising. A few years back I was drinking the CrossFit kool aid. I would CF 4 days a week and lifted at a traditional gym three days a week. By far the best shape of my life. I weighed 158. Benched 235, squatted 295, and dead lift 335. I completed “Murph” in less than an hour with a weighted vest. We once did a WOD of three sets of max reps back squats. The bar was loaded with your body weight. 1st set was 45x, 2nd - 27x, 3rd - 15x. I was pretty proud of that because I have chicken legs. There was this Asian girl in there that could dead lift 350 and it would piss me off

You absolutely did not run a 5 second 40 yard dash at 6’2” 330 lbs. You don’t even have a trail cam pic to prove it.
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

Hehe. Must have been one of those Gamecock 5 star recruits no one’s ever heard of.

These stories are like fishing stories. The longer it's been since you caught the fish, the bigger it gets.
