A buddy of mine and I were hired to work at the club when we turned 14.. our first jobs, and we were the first two kids of members that they took on. We played a ton of junior golf together, but also hunted and fished together a good bit. One morning we snuck ultralights in our bags and made our way to fish the pond on 10 and 3.. my largest shell cracker to date was in that pond, they were grown up back then. Like any good thing it went away.. we had a gaggle of junior golfers a couple years younger than us catch word. They went at it with no sense, and old grumpy men in the 80s had zero use for that. I still think about fishing those ponds, but I know they're not the same.

Didn't think Thomas would be burning it up even though he's been playing well

And that UGA am Davis Thompson has been cool to watch

Perhaps that 50/50 forecast was a bit premature...

Green Valley is nice. That's TR Highs home course. It's always in great shape. All private. Greens were just punched last week so they're a little hairy right now. Should be good in another week or so.

The tourney is Oct 1st, so they should be good by then.

and there sure are lots of birdies. I guess the talk WILL be about the people that set up the course....so easy.

It's on the golf channel, I've been watching it.. there's not like there's shit else to do in this rain.

I haven't played that one, I rarely go farther north or west then Lake Wateree.

The wind will change, and with no rain up there the greens will get firmer.. it'll toughen up

Your lack of golf knowledge is prohibiting you from being a good troll.

oh i know golf. I just like to pick on Ralph. I havent been able to swing a club in a few years due to a cuff and bicep tear.

I still think -5 on the first day is a better score than most predicted. I'm sure the course and pin placements will get harder but they caved to the pressure and made it easier than they wanted to.....

I'd like to see Rickey Fowler win. He seems to be on today.
