    Default 6V batteries

    random thoughts...
I just went on staples to get some crap for the office and needed a couple of lantern batteries for feeders.

    they were $19/per.

wtf? I feel like I woke up from a bad dream and stuff costs lots more money than it did before my coma....

The moultrie solar rechargeable don’t cost that much.

WalMart has energizers for under 10. (I know, I know)

I bought Amazon brand D-cells the other day. I think they were 12 for $14, the coppertops were 8 for $14. It will be interesting to see how they hold up...

I bought a bunch of coppertops off amazon earlier this year for all my game cameras- they run on 6- D cells each and the batteries last about 3 months- cheaper than wal mart and free next day delivery to my house is hard to turn down. you gotta watch out where they come from, lots of chicom counterfeit shit out there- also need to watch manufactured on date to get fresh made stuff.
