Ravenous Pig in Winter Park is excellent. Go spend some of your per diem. Closed on Monday. I highly recommend this place.

    ^ x2 Rachels for a steak

    Pigs Floyd for BBQ

There is a little Vietnam in Orlando with some real deal Pho if you're into that

Also head over to Merritt Island to Blackpoint Wildlife Drive if you get free. I was there last week and the wildlife was a bit lacking, but maybe with the cooler weather starting to show up a few early birds will come with it. If you end up in Cocoa (the town, not Cocoa Beach) there is a place called "La Placita #3" that has some fucking amazing tostadas. It's a Mexican grocery store with a small restaurant in the back. Expect to get strange looks and speak only in Spanish.

What did you eat?? They usually have a pretty good fish option. Last time I was there we ate Triggerfish and it was excellent. Sweetbread appetizers. Glad it met your standards.
