    Default Zebu

Anybody know of someone who sells them? Looking for two bred heifers preferably.

I’d love to have some F1 Braford females and run either Angus or UltraBlack bulls on them. I think it would make a heck of a cow, well suited for the climate in this area, and the steers would still perform well in the feedlots.

I'm interested in what you might find. Next winters project is fencing off my back field for beef. Growing up around the cuttin horse and rural rodeos, I've always been drawn to Brahms.

The zebus have another place and will be used for milk and to graze ahead of goats and sheep in their rotation. Hopefully help with the parasites.

    And we have zebu.
Cow is bred and should calve in January. I was raised on a dairy farm. Holstein bulls are some of the most unpredictable and violent of any I've been in contact with. My great grandfather would have been killed by a 10yo bull if the hired hand hadn't put a 16ga slug in its ear. Every bald faced cow I've faced is equally nasty.
This guy pictured is your best friend if you've got an apple treat or two in your hand.

Are Zebu and Brahman the same?

Brahma were bred up from the zebu.
