Those tactacam ones look promising I might order a few to try. Thanks fellas
As for budget cameras off amazon these are hard to beat. They just went on sale also. I had a 5 gallon bucket with 5 or 6 trail cameras in it that I left out in the rain. Bucket filled up with water and submerged all the cameras. This one was the only one that wasn't ruined. Several Wildgame innovations a bushnell didn't make it

You can dress a fat chick up, but you cant fix stupid
Is tater still building his own trail cameras like some
Sort of redneck Elon musk?
I've built a bunch of them, its not that hard really and they work great, you can get much better pics than most of the store boughts and you can fix them yourself if they quit
Not anymore. I retired at the top of my game when I made a trail cam that grunted when the PIR was triggered. I mean, how the hell do you top that?
I packaged 10 broken moultrie cams in a box with a baggie of dog shit and sent them back to the warranty department and they gave me $40 discount code....

I probably just got lucky, but I bought a browning cell cam three or four years ago, and it is still kicking. I probably don't use it as much as most would, but I've left it out from August through January in damn cold weather in Indiana and had deer and cows put the beatdown on it, and it's still kicking. I want the cell so that I don't have to go in and disturb the area once I find that a good deer has at least walked in the area once. The one I have can be changed remotely from pic setting to movie setting, and I'm hoping that one day I'll have the cam where I want to hunt, will change it to video mode on the way in, and hopefully catch all the action from a cool perspective if a deer walks into the right spot.
