Default Transfer case 4wd actuator problem

Put in 4wd last night checking on a food plot. Went into 4wd ok but when I pushed the button to go out
it just blinked on the button and wouldn’t disengage. The only thing I have done recently was spray the wheel wells at the car wash to get rid of mud a few weeks ago. Could I have d/ced a hose off the actuator? I wouldn’t think it would engage if that was the case. 2006 Toyota Tundra , thanks!

Is it still in 4wd? Have you tried the old reverse out of it method?

Long story short I made a post on here this past winter about something similar on my 4runner. While researching that, I found some threads about how the connection in the actuator is a “bad design” and can get jiggled loose or get water inside. I know one fix was to open it up and solder the connections together so they can’t jiggle apart. If water was in it I believe they just replaced it if I remember correctly.
