    Donor 5.3

Engine was torn down and completely rebuilt, heads reworked, mild cam installed, larger intake, larger throttle body, larger fuel injectors

4L60E transmission completely rebuilt, new sunshell, all new internals, upgraded corvette servo’s, shift kit, new torque converter.

Opinion on 4l60? Keep reading stick with 4l80 if any HP is involved.

We bullet proof our 4L60E’s and it will handle the torque with ease that it will receive.

For argumentative sake. Stock to stock the 4L80 will handle more torque, and built it will definitely handle more torque.

So far the LS stuff I’ve done are not 6.0/6.2 ‘s pushing 700hp so I’ll stick with a bulletproofed with all upgraded internals 4L60E.

A lot going on, Covid, shortage on parts, etc. managed to make some progress on this LS swapped beast…. Only the best.

Looks good Kevin. Tight fit looks like. I’d have to throw a big cam in just to have it thumping the ground

Very tight fit, engine was pulled out 3 times. Had to get creative with the steering. Custom A/C lines, cold A/C, power steering, she’s going to be mean.

I was told it couldn’t be done. We couldn’t pull the body for various reasons. I’ll do a couple full walk around videos. Attention to detail is what will set this car apart.

Wondering how you keep from bending stuff when the motor torque's over to one side. In the day we had to chain um down to keep the motor from moving
