I saw some Bluewings in lower Jasper County last weekend. Surprised the hell out of me.
The only good thing about my imperfections is the joy they bring my friends.

Teal are those blueish-grey birds that Sanford has DNR maintain around the Statehouse.

They fly fast and make a very distinct noise. This is a blue wing teal found on the open water at lake murray during september.

hey SM, Squatty WAS wearing his sunglasses as safety glasses too! you might be right. I saw the same teal out of SM's glasses Squatty, seriously, check the lenses on your glasses. Simpleman used his and the metal that was flying blasted his glasses!

I believe ya ! Seriously, check the lenses on your glasses. SM's look like he took a load of #9's at a distance. Ruined glasses is a WHOLE lot better than a piece of metal in the eye!

Squatty was at the Statehouse in all the heat of downtown Columbia?

I'll look closer but I took mine off early and put on the safety ones. I had a hard time seeing well yesterday afternoon anyway. My eyes got so dry and RED I barely could keep them open to get home from 2 Rivers Farm. I poured a bottle of drops in them last night and woke up rejuvinated!

RP, I wasn't at the statehouse during all that heat. I was in an oven at 2 River's Farm cutting wire all day!

Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
