Someone not long ago posted the old menu from just before they shut the doors. It may have been on FB. It's funny to look at how prices have changed.

Don’t expect sand on the beach...it is crushed shell for the most part.

I have had good fishing at 900 block and 1300 block. Or ride a bike from pier to the inlet going north.

Sea Cow for breakfast. Don’t plan to order a pizza there or you will need a 2nd mortgage.

Food changes by the year I believe. Whaley’s isn’t what it used to be for sure.
No sand on the beach? I've watched a few youtube vids of people fishing and it looked like it had sand.

What was the name of the restaurant in Hollywood? I think it was Firehouse but I can't remember ... I miss their whole fried flounder. That was a guaranteed stop every time we went to Edisto.

Edisto is a great place. More water to explore than any other place in sc. don’t go for the restaurants.

OPO was nice years back, I'd go to eat at Willk's if I was down there. those were about the only places I ate down there. I typically just fished and fried or grilled everyday. My wife used to enjoy the seacow, I'd have to take her once every time we went down. You go to Edisto to do nothing or fish.. I can do nothing very very well in the limited times I get a shot at it.

We go to Fripp for our summer vacation. It's pretty laid back. Sitting on the beach and fishing is pretty much all we do down there.

Sadly the OPO is a dumpster fire now.

    The Firehouse has closed down.

It's been several years since I've been. Jess and I walked in back then because Phillip was supposedly back, he wasn't.

The Marina is for drinking, Eat at Briny, Waterfront, or Ollies.

Roxbury just over the bridge is a fine place to grab lunch.

.....Not trying to be the bogster of edisto.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

    fact, shitty bar food.

How is whaleys now a days? I swore it off 4 or 5 years ago. Ordered for the whole family one night, got about 7 different things and I think we immediately threw away 5 of them. Ain't been back.
