Yes, you can still go the trust route. I’m not an attorney but your kids will have to be a certain age before they can be added as a Trustee.

I know of one attorney here that does NFA trusts ( he did mine) and the SilencerShop offers 2 different ones as well.

Just picked up a 22/45 lite this week and thought a can would be the ticket for that pistol. What can would you recommend for a .22?

Good deal. Ill do some checking. I bought a little ruger ranch rifle awhile bach that is threaded already. Would be a nasty little thing with a can on it.

What, if any, are the nuances for a NC resident wanting to shop you for a can? I hold a NC CCP if that matters. I know the pistol laws

I don’t believe I can transfer one to an out of state person. But I will check into it. I can transfer one to your local in state FFL/SOT.

Steelin, not exactly sure of your FFL status but I am in process of doing something similar. Georgia FFL has the can I want on hand that has never been registered to an end user.
Local SC FFL provides SOT to Georgia dealer, and move forward from there. I cannot buy directly from Ga FFL from SC as a private citizen. Not sure if it would change anything or if I could go to Ga and bypass the steps involved.
