Default August youth day - Zone 3

I looked around online and can't find the regulations. Any idea what Saturday in August is the youth day in Game Zone 3?

Talked to dnr last week. They said the dates should be out next week.

It’ll be the Saturday before the regular opener most likely

So bow season typically starts August 15, that would put Saturday the 8th as the youth hunt, feels really early. Just wish they would communicate a little earlier than the week before.

It’s on the tags, I think it said the 8th but I didn’t pay much attention to it.

Does the tags imply you can shoot does anytime now or you still wait until 9/15?

I thought it odd the dates didn't fall on Saturdays. This is what I was going by from DNR website (I hadn't opened my tags yet) :

This is what's on the website right now...but I don't think it's right. Looking at the calendar, this appears to be last years info

    Game Zone 3 (Private Lands)
Antlered Deer Limit: Statewide limits apply.

Antlerless Limit: 2 per day. 8 total all seasons and methods combined.

    Archery & Gun Hunts: Aug. 15-Jan. 1

Youth Deer Hunt Days: August 10, Antlered deer only, limit 1. January 4, Either-sex, limit 2. Tags not required.

I've confirmed the website is still referencing the 2019-2020 regulations. All things being equal, the 2020-2021 regulations should have Aug 8th listed as a youth day

Reeltight is correct, they haven’t updated the website yet. This year youth day is August 8th for gamezones 3 and 4.

They should make more of an effort to update the information especially for youth days.

The website is supposed to be the most updated and current information. They send and refer you to the website to stay up-to-date in ever changing rules. The fact it’s not updated with deer season opening in less than two weeks is piss poor

Youth days have always been the Saturday before and after the season.
