Default Moccasin too close for comfort...

Came in from working on a water control structure last weekend, kicked off my snake boots and decided to open up some doors at the club house and let her air out. Went to unlock the outer steel door and looked down to see this bastad about 2” from my flip flopped foot. Jumper backwards and slipped around the front where he got a busted head. Glad he decided not to strike. Still not sure how he got where he was as there is “0” gap he could have come through.

Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Yeah, creepy crawlers find gaps you don't know about when the smell of rodent is in the air...

After killing one in self defense working in a swamp in Williamsburg county last year, I will go out of my way to kill any one I come across. Seeing one wading through a swamp with a survey instrument in one hand and the tripod in the other is an unnerving feeling.
