    Default New Grill.

I ordered an Alveron Grill from John Haney. Wanted a patio model to start off, most likely will fit my needs. Thanks to fishsticker, tha dick and scsportsman for all the help and reviews.

John got it to me late last night and after some beers, deer talk and some tips, I was ready to go this morning.

I got 3 butts on for the weekend and for the work guys. 2 spare rack ribs and sausage going on later today.

It’s a nice grill and hoping to get a lot of use out of it with some different meats and recipes. Hopefully I’ll remember to get some pics and post them up.

Looks sharp, but was there no better way to plumb the piping such as maybe the back of underneath?

Solid grill until you get to the spare parts used for the plumbing, that would drive insane.

Can someone shoot me John Haney's number. I have one of his older grills and want to look at swapping to the new style of wheels and a new diffuser/wood chip rack.

I’m not sure, there must be a reason to the madness. John has put a lot of thought into these grills and I would have assumed placement was well though. I always did wonder that when looking at them, before I wanted one and it slipped my mind. I’ll ask him next time I see him though.

Slapped some spare ribs on about 45 minutes ago also.

If it wasn’t local, I would be worried. But John’s reputation for helping all of his customers out, doesn’t make me worry about replacement parts.

Actually, you can do both. Not a traditional off set, but it has a tray insert for wood / charcoal.

not backwards. it is so you can adjust the air going into the burner

Enjoy, nothing like a new cooker! I have a BQ Grill out of Elm City, NC that is similar to yours but bigger on a trailer that is gas for primary heat and also has a wood fed fire smoke box that cooks like none other. I prefer it over my Lang stick burner.
