Default Finally got my “cook shack “ completed

Couples years back I rebuilt my deck (with LOT of help of my hunting partner that is a GC) and got it screened in so we could enjoy sitting outside.

This area gets afternoon sun and was about useless. I then moved my grills/smoker to our lower deck, which we had a hot tub on for years , but that put me back out in the sun/rain and everything else

My GC buddy finally had a break in his work schedule and got me a roof over it now, hell I am happier than a kid on Christmas am.

I put some LED lights up and have an outdoor fan ordered to install after vacation

So much better now, out of the hot afternoon son and even grilled out tonight in a thunderstorm

Still got some finishing touches to do but here are couple pics I snapped right after they got completed

What fan did you order? I'm currently working on a cooking shed myself.

Barge rafters and fascia don’t look treated, you planning to wrap them in aluminum?

Looks nice though, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it

found an outdoor fan that mounts to the post and can be titled and moved around. It shipped yesterday.

I will post a pic when I get back from vacation

Yep, he has a sub coming by when he gets a break to wrap all that. Also going to put a gutter on patio side to keep drip off patio and will install a rain chain at end of that for downspout

Post a attached to original posts for deck with timber lock screws. They sit on the concrete and on other side are sitting on those deck pads
