    Default TurboSwing

Anyone using one of these things? Kind of pricey but I like the simple design and the ease of removal when not in use. Looking to put this on a Key West 186dc

Why not just a tow bridle?

I'm sure PT could make a custom one. Don't have that much time before I really need it. The easy bolt up bracket and easy removal is appealing.

    $750 for a 150hp outboard.

They work great RT. I’ve had a many installed for customers.

They also help keep non boat drivers from banging up your outboard.

Seems you could tie a tube/ski rope to a stern cleat and spend $800 on something else.

Palmetto Duck - they work. They aren’t perfect though. It’ll still ride the water and spray kids depending on where your mounting hooks are on the boat and what you are pulling. When it jams it really jams.

Use a tow bridle with an inline rope float= shaped like a football and keeps the rope out of the water.

I’ve slalom skied and pulled kids on tubes and knee boards all over the place with no problems with one of these or something very similar. Never a problem as long as you pay attention and don’t get it in the prop. Get one of these if you want the rope outta the water. How much do y’all wanna spend?? “Spraying the kids”?.??? They’re riding in the WATER.

I prefer this kind. It keeps the rope higher for slalom skiers and wake boarders.

This is what I use behind the pontoon. Works fine and sure isn’t $750.

Drilling another hole in a transom seems a bit problematic in the long term.

I didn't know towing kids was so complicated. We grew up with the ski rope tied into the tie down loops and did just fine.

Those are okay. The tripod ones like you show are not good for a tube. A tube drags too much and will bend that thing like a pretzel. the ones similar to this that mount to the transom are nice. I've actually got a not into KW to see if they have on at their shop. None of the aftermarket ones seem to list the 186DC as compatible. We'll see....
