Default Been discussed but: night vision vs thermal around $2k?

Looking for first hand reviews on this for hunting rifle. Price point seems to steer towards ATN or pulsar but ATN has a lot of hit or miss reviews.
Any first hand knowledge out there?
Ideally I would like to be able to positively and reliably take game (hogs, yotes) out to 200yds. I don’t care about video, bluetooth and a lot of those add ons but would like to be able to compensate for yardage drop whether that be with the reticle or quick adjust etc. also wouldn’t mind a scope that is day/night capable. Any help is appreciated!

Here's the lower budget numbers with some 2k range thrown in...

I like my ATN 4k pro. But dont expect it to record video with a light recoil rifle.

I guess one step further, anyone with one in Charleston that would be willing to let me look through one, or any dealers?

Pulsar hands down. Get the best you can afford. Thermal waaaay over night vision
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands

This is what you need to do. I don’t know where SW338 has been lately, but I know he has the goods.

Both of these are good for that price range. I would lean towards the hogster.

I got a FLIR, don’t get one with all the bullshit technology, hit the wrong button and your hog is gone by the time you get the scope back up. My rig will drop them out to 200 yds. Remember simple is better.

Hey Tim. You bring the thermal, I’ll bring the full auto. We’ll mow down some pigs.

I agree that I can do without most of the features.

I have been following this thread and was hoping someone would say there is a good clip on option.
I would like to keep my gun and daytime scope setup as is and just add the clip on thermal in front of the scope.
You would think that option would be more affordable but i cant find any good options.
