    Default Stubborn Old People

My elderly, cancer patient, and feeble grandfather is as stubborn as they come.

Decides to travel to Minnesota against our best judgement to see an ailing brother. Took a tumble in the Souix Falls, SD airport. 4 broken ribs, punctured lung, and a broken pelvis.

Some of you insurance folks may have taken your CE classes from him over the years.

If you could keep him in mind, as well as my poor mother in your thoughts and prayers.

I will be headed up there at some point to be with him for the time being.

Sorry to hear that. That’s going to be rough on him.

I have a bad feeling about all of this. He’s had a hell of a run thus far, though. Would not surprise me if he makes a few more laps..l

Is he from Seneca or somewhere like that? If so I think I have sat in a few of his classes. That man has a love for what he does. Hope he heals quickly.

My grandpa is Mike Kill. He had a school named PAIR. A man that taught for him now runs the show. My grandpa definitely has a love for Insurance after being in the business for 65 years

Yep that’s him. Sorry to hear about his troubles. If he can put forth the energy towards recovery that he does to his classes, he will be fine. That man would get excited about teaching insurance CE.

Y’all have our prayers. Those older folks don’t worry about it, they’ve lived and seen stuff that makes them just not worry.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Hope that time with his brother was worth it. Broken ribs suck!

    Praying he'll heal up quick.

Thanks everyone. The hospital has been great. Keeping us updated. My uncle is an airline pilot and had to reroute and is there now. Has a long road ahead of him but is in good spirits.

He is a tough old man. I guess you don’t make 89 being weak...
