They don't make them like they used to. I've got a 1970s Remington 1100 LT20 that was passed to me from my old man. My favorite gun I own, when dad gave it to me on my 18th birthday he had killed just about everything except a turkey with it. Have killed several with it since along with plenty of dove, ducks, geese, and even a couple does. The old man killed everything with a fixed full barrel, I have since bought a modified barrel for birds and the like. My go to gun for about everything now, they just don't make them like they used to.

This 1100 was bought in 1970 by my dad from western auto
I shoot it now and it is deadly on doves but here is my first wild quail CF0007AF-3142-4EEC-86C8-40F310DEC189.jpg

You are very welcome, glad that you enjoyed it. I learned to use a shotgun with an 1100 so they hold a special place in my life.

My 11-48 16ga is still my favorite scatter gun.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

What a truly great American company they were. Private equity investment has not been a friend to the Sportsman, that is for sure...
