They may call for a season closure like they did during the flood, due to increased pressure

Won't kill any personally but the wife might take a few out. If not, then I'll call the processor up after the season is over and see what all hasn't been picked up. Been stocking the stand-up freezer this way for the last 6-7yrs.

No and No. Only end of the year deer. Processor has been a family friend for years, so he looks out for me. Anything else?

I've never done it but whats the problem with picking up deer that haven't been picked up? I'm sure the processor appreciates making that little bit of money that he otherwise wouldn't.

Not knowing how that deer was handled prior to it getting to the processor would be my concern. Someone too shittin to pick up a deer is probably the same kind of heybo that would ride it around all day, in the September heat, showing it off to whoever will look.

Because you ALWAYS get your own deer back from the processor when you drop one off. ALWAYS.

By the way, if a hunter with Coronavirus kills a 2.5 year old 14 inch inside spread 8 pt, will they count that as a Corona death too?

    this
i handle dead deer way differently than the average human and have caught grief on this web site many times for how I do things. I am cool with it bc my venison tastes far better than most.

One land owner who lets us hunt usually asks for 3. This year he’s asked for 5 so I guess, yes we will be shooting a little more. I got a 16 year old that wants to shoot and I’m happy to let him. Those years pass too fast anyway.
