I'm 5'8" and draw about 28 1/2". Those charts can't really be trusted.

I'm 5'9" and measure a 27-1/2" draw, but I set my arrows at 28-3/4" to give the broadheads plenty of room ahead of my fingers.

I know where there is another switchback sitting in a hard case and it hasn't moved in 3 years. Let me know if you're interested, but I'm about 99.9% sure he'd sell it.

If I'm understanding you correctly, that has nothing to do with the draw length, only how much arrow you'll have sticking past the riser.

I'm 6’1” and have a 31" draw length. As others said those charts are very generic. Go get measured before you buy a bow with a fixed draw length. You could end up spending extra money you didn't want to spend. Shooting with the wrong DL is probably one of the worse things you can do in archery.

Are you trying to imply I'm a knuckle dragger?

Luckily, my legs are just the right length to reach the ground.

First problem is people listing their height. Has nothing to do with that. There's info out there telling you how to measure.

People are listing their height bc usually you can guess pretty close due to most people’s arms being proportional to their height. Unless you are one of the weird ones like BP. Most 5’8” people are usually not going to be over 28”.

I listed my measured draw length as 27-1/2”.

Yes, the length of my arrows is only reflective of my wanting my arrow broad-heads to stick past the front of the riser as a safety factor to save my hand and the arrow spine is adjusted accordingly.

My lineage has been traced back to spider monkeys. That's why everyone in my family has long arms. Y'all probably have some t-rex blood in your pedigree.

I like shooting 340s which is pretty stiff for my DL of 27.5”. Sometimes I run into the issue of the arrow being too stiff. So I cut them around 28.75 and put more weight up front. Fixes the issue.
