    Default Bushy pondweed/southern naiad

I have a 2 acre pond that had limited pondweed in it when I bought the property a few years ago. I now have a decent amount that floats on the surface that when winds are strong it will cover 15 percent of the pond surface and when no wind it makes fishing a pain because it is scattered everywhere.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of the surface stuff? Not trying to get rid of the growth sub surface on the pond floor.

My pond biologist recommended Tribune to burn it down in specific areas. Carp will eat it all.

Southland Fisheries in Hopkins sells them. They normally set up drop off places as they make their rounds.

There's a list of hatcheries somewhere on the DNR site.

    It attracts ducks.

    It discourages pond trespassers.

Bass blowing up on artificial frogs on the weed mats is cool.
