    The City of Seattle held a segregated training session for white staffers last month in which they instructed workers on how to ‘undo their whiteness’ and affirm their ‘complicity in racism’, reports suggest.

    Titled ‘Interrupting Internalized Racial Superiority and Whiteness’, the training session was reportedly held by the Office of Civil Rights on June 12, the same day protesters took part in the CHOP zone demonstrations in the Capitol Hill district.

    Christopher F. Rufo, an editor for City Journal and director of the Discovery Institute’s Center on Wealth and Poverty, unearthed the session’s existence after filing a Freedom of Information request last week, which was approved Monday.

    One handout distributed in the two-and-a-half hour session reportedly read that ‘racism is not our fault but we are responsible.’

    Another said white staffers must give up ‘the land’ and their ‘guaranteed physical safety’ in order to be an ‘accomplice’ for racial justice.

    In an email inviting employees to the event, the office asked ‘city employees who identify as white to join this training to learn, reflect, challenge ourselves, and build skills and relationships that help us show up more fully as allies and accomplices for racial justice.’

    ‘We’ll examine our complicity in the system of white supremacy – how we internalize and reinforce it – and begin to cultivate practices that enable us to interrupt racism in ways to be accountable to Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) folks within our community,’ the email continued.

    The name of the email's author was redacted, Rufo said, as the City of Seattle ‘refused to provide the names of the diversity trainers, the budget for the program, or the video of the session’.

    In a thread posted to his Twitter account, Rufo outlined the various stages of the training session.

    He said that first of all ‘diversity trainers informed white participants that “objectivity,” “individualism,” “intellectualization,” and “comfort” are all vestiges of internalized racial oppression.’

    Diversity trainers also encouraged staffers to cultivate ‘networks with other white people who are practicing antiracist accomplicehood so you can talk through your struggles in the work of undoing your own whiteness.’

    In such networks, the trainers urged participants to practice ‘self-talk that affirms our complicity in racism.’ They were also instructed to give up ‘niceties from neighbors and colleagues’, ‘the certainty of your job,’ and ‘accepting jobs and promotions when we are not qualified, including racial equity jobs.’

    White employees were also issued a flowchart outlining the cycle of racism that whites perpetuate through ‘superior’ justification, ‘self-righteousness,’ ‘fear, shame and guilt’ over ‘harmful actions’ toward ‘people of color,’ and ‘smallness and inauthenticity.’

    White people are unable to ‘imagine a way forward’ that stems from a ‘place of humanity and empowerment.’ Thus, the ‘status quo is reinforced’, the chart concluded.

    For any employees questioning their ethnicity, the instructors handed out an information sheet titled ‘Assimilation to Whiteness’, which noted those of Arab, Jewish, Finnish, German, Italian, Armenian or Irish descent identify as white.

    Employees were also taught how to ‘interrupt’ their whiteness by being ‘honest and implicate yourself either in the moment or in past experiences in which you acted or thought similarly.'

    ‘Don’t blame others. Don’t distance. Don’t make yourself seem “better.” None of us is,’ a handout said. ‘You are also white and what someone else did today you may do tomorrow.’

    According to Rufo, the goal of the session was to teach white workers how they have been 'complicit in the system of white supremacy’ and must be held ‘accountable to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.’

    The Seattle's Office of Civil Rights has not yet returned a DailyMail.com request for comment on the alleged training program. It’s unclear if the training was mandatory or optional.

    Last month, the City of Seattle’s Office of Civil Rights sent an email inviting “white City employees” to attend a training session on “Interrupting Internalized Racial Superiority and Whiteness,” a program designed to help white workers examine their “complicity in the system of white supremacy” and “interrupt racism in ways that are accountable to Black, Indigenous and People of Color.” Hoping to learn more, I submitted a public records request for all documentation related to the training. The results are disturbing.

    At the beginning of the session, the trainers explain that white people have internalized a sense of racial superiority, which has made them unable to access their “humanity” and caused “harm and violence” to people of color. The trainers claim that “individualism,” “perfectionism,” “intellectualization,” and “objectivity” are all vestiges of this internalized racial oppression and must be abandoned in favor of social-justice principles. In conceptual terms, the city frames the discussion around the idea that black Americans are reducible to the essential quality of “blackness” and white Americans are reducible to the essential quality of “whiteness”—that is, the new metaphysics of good and evil.

    Once the diversity trainers have established this basic conceptual framework, they encourage white employees to “practice self-talk that affirms [their] complicity in racism” and work on “undoing [their] own whiteness.” As part of this process, white employees must abandon their “white normative behavior” and learn to let go of their “comfort,” “physical safety,” “social status,” and “relationships with some other white people.” As writer James Lindsay has pointed out, this is not the language of human resources; it is the language of cult programming—persuading members they are defective in some predefined manner, exploiting their emotional vulnerabilities, and isolating them from previous relationships.

    It’s important to point out that this “interrupting whiteness” training is not an anomaly. In recent years, nearly every department of Seattle city government has been recruited into the ideological fight against “white supremacy.” As I have documented, the city’s homelessness agency hosted a conference on how to “decolonize [their] collective work”; the school system released a curriculum explaining that “math is a tool for oppression”; and the city-owned power company hired a team of bureaucrats to fight “structural racism” within their organization. Dozens of private companies now offer diversity training to public agencies. The idea that all whites have unconscious, “implicit bias” that they must vigilantly program themselves to overcome has become an article of faith across corporate boardrooms, academia, and law-enforcement agencies, even though the premise is unscientific and impossible to verify.

    The endgame is to make Seattle’s municipal government the arbiter of the new orthodoxy, and then work outward. At the end of the session on “internalized racial superiority,” the diversity trainers outline strategies for converting outsiders and recommend specific “practices for interrupting others’ whiteness.” In effect, the activists have organized an ideological pyramid scheme—using public dollars to establish their authority within the government, then using that authority to recruit others into the program. As Lindsay writes, “the goal is no longer to indoctrinate on what is ‘rightthink’ and ‘wrongthink.’ It is to make the [subject’s] thinking be completely in line with the view of the world described by the cult doctrine.”

    How far can this racial-justice shakedown extend itself? The new racial orthodoxy has seen exponential growth in the past few years and has proved extremely difficult for local governments and elite institutions to resist. The movement’s key rhetorical premise is designed as a trap: if you are not an “antiracist,” then you are a “racist”—and must be held to account. Skeptics might dismiss Seattle’s “interrupting whiteness” training as a West Coast oddity, but it is part of a nationwide movement to make this kind of identity politics the foundation of our public discourse. It may be coming soon to a city or town near you.

    If you follow the links, you will see where they want you to "devalue your own education, and ostracize those who "value education".

    This is all a very well planned and executed marxist attack on the fabric of our country. Yet, our panties are in a twist about whether or not some kids who hate us will be able to play games with each other on Saturdays. 'Merica.

    That's what you can expect from liberal ran governments nation wide in the near future- the poison starts on the west coast and expands eastward- seems to skip over Oklahoma.
    An evacuation order needs to be sent to all conservatives in Seattle- and then burn the entire city.

    I saw a good quote from PragerU the other day, that the worst thing conservatives ever did to America was to give up the higher education system to liberals. Truth hurts.


    While conservatives were out touting capitalism, creating businesses and being the entrepreneurs of America, the libs slid right in there and planted the seeds for trees that are starting to bear fruit...
