Spoke with the head athletic trainer for one of our state colleges yesterday and he mentioned possibly playing all college sports in the spring. No fall seasons.

I know some folks who watch college football all day on Saturdays, from the time the very first game kicks off to the last game of the day is played. They know more about “their teams” roster than they do their own 401k account.

I think it’d be pretty funny if they had to find something else to do on Saturday’s in the fall

Wouldn't be the same without it in the fall for sure. High school is all over the place. Some have shut down & went back into their hole while others are full on. No idea what it'd look like if some districts play & others do not.

Needs to be some type of reprieve from litigation & things would open up quickly. Unfortunately the lawyers we have in govt would never approve of that.

I think if it happens, it will be intraconference and limited schedule. Sept/ Oct I believe. No bowl games. I'd be happy with a spring football though.

That makes no sense at all considering those aren't even "contact" sports. What a waste.

For once in my life, I seriously don't care. I might as the time gets closer, but not right now.

Maybe I've had enough winning....don't know right yet....

And this too, except for the winning part since I pull for the Gamecocks. I really hate it for high schools more than anyone else.

I hate it for the athletes, I would have been pretty bummed if I lost a season while I was in school.

Other than that, I really don't care too much anymore. Too much other stuff going on in life to worry about sports.

Yeah. I know the athletes are bummed and I would be too. I can remember not too long ago I couldn't wait for Saturday to roll around for football. Other things take precedence now, and that's not just because I pull for the Gamecocks.
