And no, I’m not getting rid of Jake

A good friend is having to get rid of her. She is full blooded with papers, 8 or 9yrs old if I remember correctly and had her shots as of yesterday.
Brindle in color, this is the Momma to my dog, Jake. She hunts and will need to go to someone that will hunt her.

PM me for more information and I can put y'all in touch, he does reserve the right to tell you not if he doesn't think you're a good fit for the dog.

I’ve hunted with her around kids before and she’s always done fine. That being said she does not live in a house with full-time kids. Pretty sure she is house trained, she comes in a good bit at night and stays out during the day.

He has several dogs, his wife has another female dog as well. Apparently the two females were trying to establish their pecking order for quite some time and a big fight broke out tonight and she hurt the other dog pretty good so his wife said she’s got to go. I have NEVER seen her show aggression towards a person, he would even take her to work at the NAPA store in town quite often

When male dogs get in a scrap, they get over it. When female dogs have a disagreement, it's a lifelong death match.

Ha. Ain't that the truth. I would love to take her but my female Springer wouldn't let her in the yard

A few years too early. I need a couple to break their oxygen habit before I add another. But when I do it will be a squirrel dog for the kiddos.

I can't believe someone hasn't snatched up a trained, house broken squirrel dog yet! I'm already fully dogged or I would take her.

Yep, he actually married to my cousin. Thats how I ended up with Jake.
When my feist died I rode to NAPA a few days later and told him I was on the lookout for a pup a year old or less. He said he didn’t know of any at the time but then called me that evening and said he had one for me. Told me that he couldn’t say that at the store because other people were asking about dogs and he told them he didn’t have any plus he knew Barbara wouldn’t mind if he gave one away to family

I really want to see her go to a good home.
