Forecast looking pretty good now. I'll be rolling out of IOP bout 7:30 on a new 37 Freeman. Everyone catch 'em up!

Leaving GLM at 6:30, grab bait and then head to the spots.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I hope to be done quick.

    Good luck to all.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

We’ll be back when the lid on the back box won’t close or we’ve used 350# of ice.

Forgot to ask, what are y'all's go-to bottom setups? I've got a Release SG on a Trevala (awesome rig) and a Torium 16 on a Trevala that I've never even used. Also have Battle II's in every size, but haven't paired 'em with rods. Just curious what y'all are runnin'?

I got a BV 300 I stuck on a St. Croix Mojo, maybe 1.5-2# total weight. Waiting on an OTI to show up for it. BV500’s on Pinnacle Acid wrap, AVET MX Raptor on a Coach Acid Wrap, AVET MXL on Mojos and Trevalas, Stradics on Paraflex, Slammer III ON Tsunami slow pitch, Sargosas on Pinnacle jigging rods. AVET EX/50-2 on Pinnacle Sword 80 stays in a he stern holder.

Black Bart - slow pitch for grouper.

Carolina Rig with live bait 25ft off bottom for big red snapper.

Chicken rig for most every usual bottom critter.

Make yourself a sabiki rig with 3/0 hooks and bucktail hair, tipped with squid for trigger fish.
Stop this one 15ft off the bottom and feel for bites....most of the time they’ll rise to it and eat it on the way down.

It’s the most deadly trigger rig I’ve found, and you don’t get the other critters due to its height in the water column.
    Maybe the occasional beeliner.

Got most of that in the playbook already, but the bucktail trick is new to me. Will definitely give it a try.

What's your preferred rod/reel setup? Spinning or conventional?
