    Default Question for Thinkers

Opinions are like a holes, so here is a question for us a holes.

We are less than one person away from enslavement and genocide in Germany. There are literally still guards alive that worked there. They enslaved Jews and once per week they would parade two or more of the slowest workers into the courtyard and shoot them as an example and motivation for the others. So how do the Germans and the German companies that benefitted from that escape persecution. Today at the Formula 1 Austrian Gran Prix Mercedes Driver’s took knees and wore shirts that said End Racism. The announcer said that this was due to the incident in the States that began with George Floyd. So why does Germany, Germans, and German companies get a pass? MG

Anyone have any good Buck’s on camera?

Got your rifle or bow sighted in?

How is the flounder fishing? Redfish and trout also?

    How about the offshore bite?

How does everyone’s dove field look? Deer giving the sunflowers hell?

How about your garden...maters coming in good?

Any new cell trail cameras on the market?

How did the corn make in your corn pond....does your woodie hole looking promising again this year?

Summer is here, and it’s getting hot...anyone else looking forward to cool fall mornings?

It is not so much garbage as it is conversation and understanding. The question is simple: Why is America vilified while other western countries with far more recent history skate by with little international attention?

Why do we get all of the press over #MeToo while Middle Eastern families still have multiple wives and refuse to let women drive? We do we get press for cornering the racism market while Spain has been cited during the Wolrd cup matches for throwing bananas on the field when opposing teams with black players are playing? Why do we get all of the press for intolerance for sexual preferences when there are countries that still have corporal and even capital punishment for homosexuals?

So this is a question as to how we are singled out, not why or if any of this exists. This is more of a question as to why we are led to believe that, as a country, we have the market cornered on racism, bigotry, and sexism? MG

America is a melting pot that deals with a lot of stuff most countries don't. We're also the "most free" democratic nation. I think those two things combine to have more discourse than other more homogeneous nations.

The truth is the German SS were made up of the people with the same mentality as a lot of the ANTIFA crowd. That's what should really scare us. I'm pretty much done with all sports... I like the F1 until Senna got killed. I like US soccer until they started protesting the country that were getting paid to represent. I liked the Braves until I realized it was a daily commitment for the entire 162+ games. I like the NFL until they started being purposefully offensive. I like college football until Clemson became a dynasty...I pity the birds and deer this fall - I ordered all five buck tags for the first time ever.

Don't consider myself a thinker, but I'll bite.

My heritage is German on both sides, and although I do have an interest in my heritage I not hold a sense of belonging to the mother land. I've never stepped foot in Germany, so I can't speak with any level of certainty as to the outlook of the natives regarding that era in history. I would guess that modern day Germans are so embarrassed by their ancestors' crimes against humanity that it's not discussed much. Swept under the rug if you may. I mean what kind of person would be proud of that?

I'd be so scared God is gonna strike that whole place down with fire for what they did to his people.

You might be surprised. I have talked to kids at the driving school who are military and lived in Germany. More than one has told me that outside of Berlin, in many of the towns they still fly Nazi flags and celebrate Hitler’s birthday like he is a hero or something. Hate and racism are everywhere.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

In answer, the German knows exactly what socialism is. Half his country was torn away and given to Stalin after Potsdam. He is in no hurry to return to that mess...

This country was founded by different people. A "melting pot". There was a time when, surprisingly, that was what unified us. Now we are all different from our neighbors with little in common. Other , smaller countries, dont have that. We have a very ethnically diverse, religiously diverse, and economically diverse country.

I completely understand the German thinking, as much as a non-german might be able. What I am unclear of is that it seems as if the world (not including the Jewish people) seemed to have shaken the Etch-A-Sketch of life and erased a very modern, literally filmed and documented enslavement, torture, and extermination. Not to mention the taking of personal wealth and no meaningful return of stolen fortunes, some of these liberated slaves are still alive.

I think if we are going to live looking over our shoulder, I think we should adjust our mirrors to include our inconvenient blindspots. MG

Flying the Nazi flag or giving the Nazi salute in Germany will get you in jail immediately. Naming your child Adolf is illegal.
The history of Nazism is taught very early. Almost all known Nazi members who committed atrocities or soldiers who worked concentration camps have beet put in prison, dead, or iced by Mossad.
There was a big difference between the conscripted German soldier, German citizens and Nazis

My roots are also found in German ancestry.

I have been to Germany and have enjoyed my time there. The people there are fully aware of the reality that was Nazi Germany. They don't like to talk about it and it's usually recommended that you don't bring it up while there.

In short: They're embarrassed by their ancestors and what went down.

    Bullshit.

I don't doubt that there's some cocksucker in small town Germany that makes his cocksucking nature very clear by flying a Nazi flag and having a party for ol' Hiltler's bday.

However, we've got some real cocksuckers around here that the same can be said for concerning our southern heritage.

In my travels all over Germany, from the border with the Netherlands out to the very rural western side of the country, I never once saw any reference to Nazi Germany.

Except that the real power wasn't.

The Nazi's were the useful idiots then for a transfer of wealth and power the likes that the world had never seen. I have a friend whose grandparents were German bankers before, during, and after the war (rebranded as Swiss). Card carrying Nazis. Their familial wealth is astonishing.

They worked right along with Jewish bankers who knew exactly what was going on in Eastern Europe. Everyone getting theirs. Stacking stolen millions on top of millions when millionaires were a big deal.

Now, being millionaires ain't cutting it anymore. Every barely literate kid who can tote a football is one of those. Billions or you are not in the club, so here we go again...
