    Default Renting a chipper

I just cut a huge load of gums out of the yard, most in the 1/2 inch to 3 inch range, with other stuff mixed in. This is the second "purge" - I still have the brush from the first one off to the side. I'd burn it, but I'm in a subdivision and the fire code makes it a bitch.

Anybody have any experience on renting a chipper/mulcher from a rental place? Do's and don'ts?

Lex co collection centers take clean limbs and yard waste and compost it all. If you rent a chipper, get a 6", but it will cost you. Then you still have a pile to dispose of. If you were closer, I would take all youve got. If you do go the chipper route, I still may be able to get the wood chips out of your way.
