    Default Spinning reel?

Looking for 2 new reels/rods in the 3000-4000 size. Not wanting to break the bank. I’ve got 6 of the penn battle II that I’ve been running the past 3-4 years, but due to my dumb ass sitting 2 on top of the truck and driving off they both now need to be replaced due to some severe road rash. Looking at the daiwa BG & spinfisher, anything else I should consider?

I have a set of the BGs I use. They get abused by inexperienced anglers, dunked, knocked around and all they get is a rinse. I currently think for the price point/value these are as good as it gets for inshore.

Battle III comes out mid July....deals to be had on Battle II right now.

Battle III puts the BG back in its place....

Slammer III is a fine reel. Mine have held up much better than my Stradics. The Spinfishers have been workhorses but aren’t as smooth as the Slammer.

We’re had on spinning tackle catching all those bludgeonwidgets and snotgurgles.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
